Join our Sommelier, Paulo, for an evening of good wine with a two course supper.

    The vineyards of Beaujolais fall on the granite rich slopes of a hilly region between Macon and Lyon at the southern limit of Burgundy.
    The only vine authorised for red wines is Gamay .

    Come with us on this trip and discover the wines of the “Crus” taste with us producers like Jean-Michel Dupre ,Pascal Aufranc and Patrick Tranchard .

Captain's Crew Charity Skydive

Our incredible crew are taking to the skies to raise money for the Macmillan Caring Locally unit at Christchurch Hospital.

    Committed to funding a new coffee lounge for Macmillan Caring Locally’s new unit, our team usually host a yearly coffee morning - "Great Big Coffee Morning". This year, we’re going one step further and a whole bunch of us will be jumping out of the sky in a bid to raise as much money as possible for a charity very close to our hearts.

    Everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer, so whether you can give a little or a lot, we will love you forever. If you can’t give, no stress, just help us spread the word about the amazing work of the Captain’s Crew.

Foraging Day with Jennifer Williams

Join Jennifer Williams forager, grower and cook for a fun filled afternoon in and around the Captain’s Club Hotel. Jen will take you on an edible tour of discovery into the local area around the hotel, where she will explain the history, nature and environment of this beautiful unique location whilst sharing her wealth of recipe’s and ideas for cooking wild finds, that have been in her family since the 1800’s.

    Meet and greet outside the Captain’s Club Hotel at 10.30am.

    Take a boat trip to Hengistbury Head where Jen will then take you on an edible tour, with a brief and history of the location and plant identification, whilst you reconnect with nature (1.5 hours). You will enjoy a refreshment break with hedgerow teas and homemade cake whilst on the edible tour.

    Return to the Captain’s Club to enjoy a cocktail designed with nature, foraging and the surrounding environment in mind by one of our team of mixologists

    The recipes will change as the seasons progress, for example the month of May is ideal for Elderflower, wild greens and flowers that can be turned into syrups, puddings and salads.

    All cooking utensils, foraging baskets, gloves and any other tools for the event will be provided.
    Guests must wear suitable clothing and footwear

    £30.00 per person

The Captains Club in conjunction with FlowerFest19 invite you to enjoy an Afternoon Tea and Floral Presentation with some new designs inspired by the films of Mary Poppins.
