About us
Charities and community
We're proud to help a number of our favourite local charities through fundraising and event sponsorship.
Macmillan Caring Locally
Over £25,000 raised to date in 2018.
Our favourite local charity, Macmillan Caring Locally is a cause close to our hearts. Our Great Big Coffee Morning in September 2018 raised £2,200 for the cause. Thank you to everyone who attended, bought, and made cakes, the event was a huge success!
In 2017, we also joined forces with the Second Smile Project to commit to raising £25,000 for their new 'Brick by Brick' campaign, allowing them to fund a coffee lounge in a brand new unit so relatives and visitors can escape reality for a moment with a good cup of coffee.

Captain's Crew Charity Skydive
Every year we run a Big Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Caring Locally, but in October 2018 we really pushed the boat out. Eight members of the Captain's Club crew took to the skies in the name of charity and raised over £5,500 for Macmillan Caring Locally - we couldn't be more proud.
Christchurch Food Festival Education Trust
You all know how much we love the Christchurch Food Festival and we have been long-time supporters of their Education Trust. This is a registered charity offering education, training, and guidance on healthy eating and food preparation. They work all year around in partnership with local schools with around 1,000 children taking part. Events include food preparation demos, cookery challenges, and Kids' Kitchen events.
Room to Reward
We are proud to support Room to Reward. The idea behind it is a simple one: hotels are able to make use of empty rooms and give something back to those truly deserving. Charities are able to say thanks to their amazing teams and the inspirational Hidden Heroes can enjoy a well-earned break.
Room to Reward partner with more than 125 hotels and over 100 charities across the UK.
