The town is rich in history from its Grade ll-listed Place Mill dating from back to 1100 AD to the Victorian bandstand, Red House Museum and Christchurch Priory Church, which has been welcoming worshippers for over 900 years. Surrounded by a magnificent collection of castles, admire the ancient ruins of Christchurch Castle, as well as visiting Bailey Castle and Highclere Castle - the famous set of the popular TV show, Downton Abbey.
