Macmillan Caring Locally
Over £8500.00 raised in 2017
We are continuing our support of this fantastic local charity with our annual ‘Great Big Coffee Morning’ and last year we joined forces with The Second Smile Project to commit to raising £25,000 for their new ‘Brick by Brick’ campaign. The idea is that we will be funding a coffee lounge in the brand new unit so that relatives and visitors can escape reality for a few minutes and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
If you would like to know more about this charity or would like to make a donation towards the coffee lounge then please visit the website https://www.macmillanlocal.org/ or contact Cheryl Davies – firstname.lastname@example.org
Captain's Crew Charity Skydive
For Macmillan Caring Locally
Every year we run a Big Coffee Morning to raise money to Macmillan Caring Locally but this year we’re really pushing the boat out. Eight members of the Captain’s Club crew are taking to the skies in the name of charity on October 11th.

Diamond & Ice Ball
We were thrilled to support one of our own in November 2017 by being headline sponsor for The Diamond & Ice Ball, a charity ball to raise funds for The Second Smile Project, a project which aims to raise the awareness of thyroid cancer through random acts of kindness. The event was a huge success and raised over £7,500 of which £5,000 went towards the coffee lounge project and the remaining money will be used for thyroid cancer patients and awareness of this rare cancer.
For more information about the ball please visit the website www.diamondandice.co.uk or contact Cheryl Davies – email@example.com
Christchurch Food Festival Education Trust
We are a huge supporter of the The Christchurch Food Festival Education Trust which is a registered charity offering education, training and guidance on healthy eating and on food preparation.
Much of the Trust’s work is undertaken all year round in partnership with local schools. Their annual schools cookery days begin in February and Christchurch’s junior schools, around 1,000 children, take part. Another schools’ event is a cookery challenge for budding young chefs which culminates at the Food Festival. It is also here that the ever-popular Kids’ Kitchen events take place.

Room to Reward
We are proud to support Room to Reward.
The idea is a simple one that represents a win for everybody. Hoteliers are able to make use of their empty rooms and give something back to those truly deserving, charities are able to say ‘thank you’ to their amazing teams in a way that doesn’t impact their own budgets and, most importantly, the inspirational Hidden Heroes are able to enjoy a well-earned break.
Room to Rewards now partner with more than 125 hotels and over 100 charities throughout the UK.
